The last ESSENCE project meeting took place on June 21. Although our project will officially end on August 31st, the truth is that now there will be a time of canceled holidays and a lot of complications for partners, so we decided to organize a meeting now, even before the dissemination events that each partner will conduct in their context. At this meeting, we were fortunate enough to hear the results of our schools’ pilots using all the elements of the ESSENCE methodology together, and in particular the ESSENCE tool, and we were delighted to see Portuguese, Italian and Portuguese teachers and students. using what we designed and improved in these months. It was a good meeting, we learned a lot. I guess the only thing that leaves us with a bittersweet aftertaste of our last meeting (the one we did online) is that it was originally supposed to be in Beja (Portugal) and I’m afraid at least as part of ESSENCE, it doesn’t go, if it’s possible. Now we have work to do, and probably the most important thing will be to get the information out to as many teachers as possible and try to make all the effort useful.
